Coonan & Bonds Architects was founded in Orange County California by two partners, whose careers in Architecture are diverse, and talent is exceptional. As an award winning firm, with an egalitarian structure, Coonan & Bonds Architects leads the industry in the design of Urban Master Planning, Regional Planning, City Planning, Mixed Use, Housing, Retail, Entertainment, Hospitality, Urban High Rise and Institutional Architecture. President/Managing Principal

30+ years of experience in Architecture as a Designer, Studio Manager & Master Planner. Chris worked as upper management of National firms such as MBH Architects, Leo A Daly Architects, IBI Group, on the owner’s side at RED Development and with Target Corporation.

For the past 10 years he has been associated with Coonan & Bonds Architects, and is now the Managing Principal of the firm, after returning from living in China for 7 years. Chris also owned a chain of restaurants & bars in China, which he self-developed while working on large design project in China. .

Dennis Bonds
Vice President/Production

Mr. Bonds, a licensed Architect in California, has more than 35 years experience in land acquisitions, entitlements, land planning, and architectural design.

Additional areas of expertise include cost estimating, construction documents, and construction supervision of residential and commercial projects. Dennis has a diverse background in various project types in addition to his roles of Project Architect and Principal. Dennis is an authority on all aspects of project planning, contract agreements, construction documents and construction administration.

Mr. Bonds is also registered architect in the state of Nevada and Arizona.
